STABILIZATION SYSTEMS

The different stabilization systems of a boat:

Flaps

The flaps, or trim tabs, make a significant difference in the maneuverability and performance of motorized catamarans.
The flaps make steering more smooth, more obedient, and quicker, while increasing safety and reducing consumption.

Zip Wake

The Zipwake is a system of vertical fins located on the transom. The Zipwake fin deflects the water flow to restore the trim.
Under the principle of a blade, the interceptors will automatically operate vertically and control your trim to achieve a comfortable navigation position while limiting your fuel consumption, unlike a traditional flap that generates significant drag and automatically causes increased fuel consumption.

Gyroscope

The gyroscope is the most effective stabilization system but also the most expensive.
A gyroscope is a sphere that spins up to 9,700 revolutions per minute, generating enough force to counteract rolling. This system is extremely effective and enhances onboard comfort in an unparalleled way.
The size of the gyroscope varies depending on the size of your boat.

Simply put, a gyroscope works on the same principle as a spinning top rotating very quickly. If a force hits the spinning top, the gyroscopic effect will immediately realign the top along its vertical axis.

The quality of the hull as well as the weight distribution of the various equipment and passengers are important elements that contribute to the stability of a boat.
