Francisation Tax
The registration tax applies to pleasure and sports boats. It is calculated based on the hull length of your boat and the administrative power of your engine. Simply add the annual fee for the hull to that of the engine to determine the total registration fee.
The rights on the hull only concern vessels starting from 7 meters.
The rights on engines apply to engines installed on ships over 7 meters or ships under 7 meters with a fiscal power greater than 22 hp.
If your vessel is registered with the Corsica Customs Office and has been docked in a Corsican port at least once during the current year, your registration tax is reduced by 30%.

| Special tax: For engines with an administrative power equal to or greater than 100 HP, the fee is replaced by a special tax of 64 euros per HP. | |
